It was just a perfect match for a weekend trip in Presteigne with good value for money. The main bed was really comfy and helped me sleep well. For future visitors, consider checking in a bit later to ensure your room is ready.

The stay included a spacious and well-appointed room, ideal for relaxation. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, accommodating our cycling needs. Dining options offered excellent vegetarian adaptations and a decent bar. Nearby eateries like Crockett's provided fantastic alternatives. the overall experience was slightly marred by the limited breakfast variety and slightly dated décor that didn’t reflect the beauty of the old building.

the hotel is so cozy with a really cool history, loved the timber framed building, and the staff was super duper friendly! had a huge room on the top floor that was verry comfy and well decorated. the food at the bar was yum and not too pricey. the village outside looked lovely too, even tho we couldn’t explore much.
but we had to climb narrow stairs to get to our room which was a bit tiring, and the breakfast could have had more options instead of just continental.

Our room was charming with old oak beams, and we loved having morning coffee in the pretty garden area. The quiet space is perfect for unwinding, though the lack of dinner options on Sundays was a small hitch. Definitely check out the historic vibes and the delightful breakfast choices! 😊

The Radnorshire Arms is a gem with a lovely garden setting and a filling continental breakfast that’s just the ticket. The vibe is historic charm with lovely rooms that tick all the boxes for comfort.
A cheeky downside was being left stranded on a Sunday with no bar or dinner. Thankfully, Daphne's sorted me out, but I expected a bit more guidance from the staff at the inn.

Had such a peaceful stay with a super comfy bed that made it hard to get up in the morning! The cozy outdoor area and lovely garden were perfect spots to unwind after a long day. Just a heads up though, the heating took a while to kick in, but it didn’t put a damper on our otherwise enjoyable time. 🌼

Charming historic ambiance with exceptional staff service
My stay in the Economy Double Room was delightful, highlighted by the warm hospitality of the staff, particularly Martin and Sasha, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The hotel boasts a lovely garden and the dining experience was extraordinary, especially the carvery dinner that featured a fantastic vegetarian nut roast. it would be nicer if they offered a cooked breakfast instead of just a continental option.

I had a really enjoyable stay at the Radnorshire Arms. The building is historic and has a lot of charm, with original features that add character. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere. I appreciated the jacuzzi bath in the en suite bathroom. it was perfect after a long day hiking along Offa’s Dyke. The bar area had a great vibe, and the food was hearty and tasty. Breakfast was continental, with plenty of fruit and fresh coffee, although I would have liked a cooked breakfast option. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. On the downside, the stairs to our room were steep and narrow, which made carrying our bags a bit of a challenge. there’s no food service on Sunday evenings. it would have been nice to have a recommendation provided by the staff. The parking arrangement at the back felt a bit inconvenient too.
